Just as they say that fear spreads, so too does hope. When you are showing up in this world via conversations, posts on social media, and even the way you are living your life; what shows up first? Is it fear or is it hope? The world has enough fear to go around - times two. What if, even if just for one day or even one post or one conversation you clung to hope instead of fear.
I have caught myself engaging in fearful thoughts, conversations, and even actions. I am grateful for my practices and connection with the divine that help me to pull out of the spiral of fear. Not only that, I'm thankful for the people in my life who hold me accountable to my goals, desires, and the truth of my heart and beliefs. Our communities and the people we surround ourselves with matters. That being said, remember that you are a part of someone else's circle and your influence is also going to go the other way.
We were born and brought here for exactly this time in history. We are uniquely and divinely equipped to handle whatever is coming our way. Not only that, but we are hear charged with building the new. Charged with, yes, but also given the opportunity to create something so beautiful. The ability to only go up from here. Yes, things need to fall apart and will, but remember sometimes the tower needs to fall so we can see more clearly. So, when things are feeling heavy (which they can) just remember that hope grows hope – even in your own heart, and even if you need to dig a little deeper on some days over others.
May you always remember that you are more capable and more filled with light than you realize and when you forget it may you be surrounded by people who remind you of your greatness, your light, and the hope that lives within you.
